BB 50 MK3

The high-speed semi-automatic binding machine BB50H-Mk3 helps print shops and bindery operations reach production rates of up to 2,000 documents per hour with minimal operator intervention. The operator simply sets up the machine for the required wire size, installs the wire spool, and begins placing pre-punched documents into the machine. One by one, the machine automatically cuts the wire, positions it through the punched holes, and closes it, completing the binding process.

The BB50H-Mk3 handles documents up to 500 mm wide, allowing the binding of large books. It binds wires from 1/4" to 1" in both 3:1 and 2:1 pitch. This wire binding finisher also supports skip binding and calendar hangers up to 400 mm long. It can even perform skip binding without hangers, enabling unique binding edges without restrictions.

On average, setup takes only about 15 minutes, including wire size configuration. All tool and setting changes are easily performed from the front of the machine, making them accessible without the need to move or reposition it. The touchscreen control panel guides the user through the process and assists in achieving a wide range of adjustments for sizes, pitches, and formats.
