EB 5000

The EB Series Electric Wire Closers are reliable and durable machines designed for daily use, ensuring smooth operation. With just one operator, they can quickly and efficiently produce perfectly bound wire books. Setting up the machine is simple: turn the size adjustment knob on the side to match the wire size needed. This knob controls the holding bars and ensures that closed wires are perfectly round for all Wire-O® sizes, from 3:1 and 2:1 pitch wires with diameters ranging from 3/16" to 1 1/4".

These machines are built with high-quality materials and robust components for long-lasting performance. The angle of the closing table and bars is optimized to prevent wires from falling out before being closed. For added safety, the EB Series includes a sensor that prevents the machine from closing if anything other than a book block is inserted, protecting the operator’s fingers and hands.

The EB 5000 can handle documents up to 350 mm wide.
